  • Class Actions

    Since her legal career began in 2001, Amy has been litigating class actions. Among other actions, she defended a credit card company against a nationwide class action alleging violations of federal lending law and a major retailer against allegations of violations of wage and hour laws. She has also represented classes of plaintiffs in nationwide class actions against major automobile manufacturers alleging sales of cars with safety defects and currently represents a plaintiff in a putative class action involving defective air conditioners.

  • Represented a class of plaintiffs against a large trucking company alleging breach of contract in payment terms, and drafted appellate briefs and class action certification motion; successfully obtained reversal of trial court decision denying class certification
  • Represented a putative class of plaintiffs against a car manufacturer for allegedly defective passenger-side airbags, and drafted complaint and responses to motions to dismiss
  • Represented putative class of plaintiffs against a car manufacturer for allegedly rapidly accelerating vehicles, and worked directly with each putative class member on discovery issues
